TAIWAN – At Modern Toilet Restaurant, guests will be served ice cream and hotpot on toilet-shaped items.
Modern Toilet Restaurant was established in 2004 in Ximending – one of the most popular tourist destinations in Taipei, the western city. The strange idea of this restaurant is inspired by the menu with a picture of a toilet in the cartoon Dr. Slump. Initially, the Mordern Toilet restaurant only served chocolate ice cream and gradually developed many other dishes later.
As the name implies, Mordern Toilet has made a very strong impression on the customers who have just stepped inside, many people are very shocked to see everywhere are toilets and other items in the toilet.
Instead of using seats like regular bars, Modern Toilet uses toilet seats as chairs. Although these toilets are completely new and clean, but due to the negative impression of the toilet, almost anyone who first sits down feels embarrassed and it is difficult to “be brave”.
Not only the seats but also the dining table, Mordern Toilet also makes use of toilet furniture. The tub is made of extra legs and the glass top is lined with a unique table that does not touch the goods, providing an enjoyable experience for customers.
Sitting on the toilet and eating food placed on top of the bath is still nothing because visitors will still be shocked when the food that the waiter brings out is also placed in the toilet. Of course, this toilet is a miniature model but just sitting and eating, not everyone can enjoy a delicious way.
Not only that, the owner was “muddy” to the point where he created ice creams in the form of dung and put them in toilet facilities, making the imagination of the customer fly higher and fly farther.
In addition to the food, drinks at the restaurant Mordern Toilet are also served in a similar style, they are placed in the urinal for men, the top has a completely smoking slot. Not counting the deliciousness of the drink, but smoking the drink from this urinal model is also enough for young people to enjoy and feel much more refreshing.
