A man buried a portion of McDonald’s fast food in his friend’s garden and ate it after more than a year as a challenge to celebrate his 40th birthday.
Matt Nadin, 40, from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, has always been proud of his ability to eat gone-off food without throwing up – but decided to push his ‘talent’ to the limit by doing the so-called ‘McDonald’s 365 challenge’ to celebrate his 40th birthday.
The dad-of-three first bought the fast-food meal – consisting of a Big Mac, fries and chocolate milkshake – just before he turned 39 in November 2018.
He then dug a hole in his friend Andy Thompson’s backyard and buried the food in a Tupperware box.
The man calculated this challenging period and planned to dig it in time for his 40th birthday in November 2019,
but he forgot and just get it recently – meaning that the food was buried for more than 14 months.
Later, he and Andy brought it back to McDonald’s, where they originally bought it, before Matt started this “party”.
Disgusting footage posted to Matt and Andy’s YouTube channel Beeper Beef shows the prankster burping and gagging as he tries to swallow the meal.
It took all 20 minutes for the man to finish his meal, with the moldy potato seemed to be covered with green moss, the meat from the hamburger hardens and the chocolate milkshake is thick and looks fermented.
However, Matt has insisted some of the food wasn’t as awful as he expected.
He said: ‘The chips were horrendous, there was just no moisture in them at all. ‘
The burger actually wasn’t too bad. It was soggy underneath and the lettuce tasted gone off but the meat was just hard.
‘The milkshake had gone kind of fizzy and tasted weirdly like a fruit smoothie.
