Princess Kako, the second daughter of Crown Prince Fumihito, turned 25 on Sunday. Princess Kako graduated from International Christian University in Tokyo last spring.
Princess Kako attended the Children’s Book Awards for the first time in June and gave a private speech at the ceremony. The princess also made her first official trip abroad, visiting Austria and Hungary in September on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries with Japan.
As for the royal family’s upcoming royal duties, according to the Royal Office, they would carefully review her attendance requirements before deciding what events she would attend.
On the occasion of Princess Kako’s birthday, Japanese royal family has released a new set of photos of the 25-year-old Princess taken at the Palace. The set of photos shows the smiling Japanese Princess welcoming the new age in a blue evening dress, wide brown pants. She also wears light makeup, with her hair tied behind her hair instead of loose like usual.
Many praised the radiant, natural beauty of Princess Kako. However, others say that Princess’ costume is disappointing when it does not fit her sweet beauty. The outfit was criticized as not modern and somewhat sloppy.
